HOUSTON COUNTY, Ala. (WDHN) — In just a couple of weeks, the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency Driver License system will get an update. And there are some things they want drivers to know.
During the week of April 18 to 22, ALEA will be working on a system update and replacing all hardware, cameras, and printers in driver’s license offices statewide. All offices will not re-open until April 26.
Officials encourage drivers needing to renew their licenses or other services like transferring their license from out of state to do it now and not wait.
