ALABAMA (WDHN) — President Joe Biden will visit Alabama weapons manufacturer Lockheed Martin in early May.

The president’s trip will be on May 3, according to a press release.

The White House issued this statement in regards to his trip:

The President will travel to Alabama to visit a Lockheed Martin facility which manufactures weapon systems such as Javelin anti-tank missiles, which the Biden-Harris Administration is providing Ukraine and which Ukrainians are using so effectively to defend against the Russian invasion.”

With multiple Lockheed Martin facilities throughout the state, more details will be released in the coming days on where he will be traveling to.

  • Troy
  • Huntsville
  • Fairhope
  • Anniston
  • Enterprise
  • Courtland
  • Madison
