Allison Polk, Multimedia Journalist
Allison Polk is a Demopolis, Alabama native who joined the WDHN team in May of 2021 as a Multimedia Journalist/Reporter.
WDHN is Allison’s first job out of college but is no stranger to the ways of TV News.
During her time at Troy University, she was involved with TROY TrojanVision News, a student-led news station. There she was an anchor, reporter, and production assistant, learning all the skills she now uses in her work.
Allison has found her true calling in journalism, as she has a degree in Broadcast Journalism with a minor in photography.
In her spare time, Allison loves to dabble in photography and videography. She is also an avid reader and loves to dive into a good book.
Allison is also a member of Alpha Delta Pi sorority and is still involved with them as an alumna.
