Sarah Drake, Reporter
Sarah is looking forward to serving the community where she was raised. She was born and raised in Ashford where she graduated from Ashford High School in 2014. She studied broadcast journalism and public relations at Troy University, graduating in July 2018.
At Troy, Sarah was actively involved in TrojanVision and the Broadcasting Club. She served as a sports anchor and reporter for TROY TrojanVision News and Trojan Sports Now. She also worked within the school’s athletic department, serving as an anchor for The Social Second — a social media series put on Troy Athletics.
She is excited to begin her career at WDHN and hopes to one day work with ESPN or the SEC Network as a sideline reporter.
When Sarah is not at work, you can find her following any and all sports either on the sideline or in the stands.
