DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — The 73rd annual Press Thornton Future Masters is now in full swing at the Dothan Country Club.
Dothan’s own Mac Steltenpohl got lined up for his first 9 holes Monday morning.
The Circle City’s driver got off to a rocky start –shooting double bogies on the first three holes — before finding himself with a birdie in the fifth.
“I played pretty well there were a few shots that weren’t all that great but battled back after that,” Steltenpohl said. “I think I played really good last year makes me feel a lot better about this year.”
The 202110u 6th place finisher Steltenpohl hung up the day tied for 11th shooting 37 which is 2 over par.
He will tee off again Wednesday morning.
