NEW BROCKTON Ala. (WDHN) — The Coffee County Board of Education has announced its plans for masks in schools after the governor’s mandate expires.

It will now be up to the personal choice of Coffee County School employees and students if they want to wear their masks.

However, if there is an increase in COVID-19 cases, masks will once again be mandatory.

In the past week, the school system has only had one new case.
