DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — Geneva County has been labeled as a very high risk area for COVID-19 infection, according to the Alabama Department of Public Health.
The state’s risk indicator says daily COVID-19 case totals are not declining in the county. Compared to the last week of April, the percent of positive COVID-19 tests has risen from 2.27 percent to 9.4 percent last week.
Geneva County is the only county in the Southeastern District with the very high risk level. Houston County and Dale County received moderate risk levels while Coffee and Henry remain low risk counties.
