DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — Southeast Health is reporting its lowest COVID-19 hospitalizations since 2021 started.
The hospital is currently treating 54 patients for COVID-19. According to the hospital’s public relations department, this is the lowest number they’ve seen since mid-December.
In total, Southeast Health has confirmed 2,202 COVID-19 cases and 255 patient deaths since the pandemic began.
Across town, Flowers Hospital saw a slight decrease in hospitalizations from 34 to 32 in one week. It also reported one new death, bringing its total to 186.
