WIREGRASS (WDHN) — Respiratory illnesses like COVID-19 and RSV are back on the rise again around the nation and in the Wiregrass.

Taking a look at the numbers in this area, Enterprise Pediatric Clinic has been seeing a higher volume of patients here recently.

Around 17% of the patients are testing positive for COVID-19 totaling 69 cases and 7% of their patients are testing for RSV.

Southeast Health has eight COVID-19 patients — that’s lower than one week ago when they had 13 patients.

Right now, they only have one RSV patient — but that is not the case for places outside of the Wiregrass.
