DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — The ten and under teed off the first round early Monday morning.
In that group, there were two Dothan natives, and one of the two was Dothan native Mac Steltenpohl.
Steltonpohl has been here before but he finished runner up to last the previous year. This year, he’s hoping for a different story.
So far in the first round, Mac shot a 39 and he’s tied for 5th. Mac said he played pretty well for the first round but tomorrow should be a brighter day.
“Um, I played pretty good the first couple holes I didn’t play so well I wasn’t chipping that good. Putt a little better and just play my best,” Steltonpohl said.
Steltonpohl is tied for 5th as the second round will begin Tuesday morning.
