DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — The line to take a picture with Santa Claus and the Grinch was filled with those with two legs and those with four.

Paws and Claus is an event hosted by Brit and Bear and Dothan Leisure Services.

This allowed dog owners to hang out at Eastgate Park from 9 a.m. until noon on Saturday.

While also enjoying time with other Wiregrass dog owners.

80 dogs visited eastgate park during last year’s event and this year they saw even more

Which includes dogs and a rabbit.

“We wanted to do it early enough to give people the opportunity to have a Christmas card, Assistant Recreation Program Coordinator for Dothan Leisure Services, John Milner IV said. “We are also here to raise money for charity for the Wiregrass Humane Society and Angel Paws.

The event was free to participate, but monetary donations were also accepted.
