According to Byrd, at this time an autopsy is being done on Davenport to determine a cause of death, however, he says this appears to be a natural death.

Davenport was arrested in December of 2020 and was facing a 3rd-degree Possession of a forged instrument charge.

Davenport was being held in the Houston County Jail with no bond set.

Davenport was ordered by Judge Larry Anderson in March to get a mental evaluation and a forensic evaluation but we do not know the results of that mental evaluation.

In March, Davenport was also ordered to be in the care of the Alabama Department of Mental Health, but before his death, on Friday he was being held in the Houston County Jail.
