Family center collects school supplies for families in need

Back To School

SKIPPERVILLE, Ala. (WDHN) — In anticipation of kids going back to school, the Mary Hill Family Service Center in Ozark is asking the community to donate school supplies and clothing items for families in need.

Mary Hill is a family resource center that provides families with various types of supplies that will help move them towards self-sufficiency.

For families in need, the center aims to fill in the gaps and one gap right now is the need for school supplies.

“So if people want to give us different school supplies we have a closet that we keep our supplies in,” Mary Hill Family Service Center Executive Director, Paige Knight said. “If someone wants to give a cash donation or a check donation, then that way we can go and purchase exactly what’s needed for our families.”

If you’d like to donate through a check, cash, or school supplies, you can mail them or stop by in person at the center located at 204 Katherine Ave in Ozark.
