ENTERPRISE, Ala. (WDHN) — Bates Memorial Stadium will be occupied on Friday nights this fall during football season.
The stadium is normally used for youth football throughout the week except for on Fridays.
The city of Enterprise granted permission for New Brockton to hold their homes games at the stadium since the Gamecock Stadium is under renovation.
Enterprise Parks and Recreation Assistant Director Blake Moore says they want to do a good deed by lending a helping hand.
“We’re in the business of being a servant and being a service to the public. It’s no greater service that we can offer than to help our neighbor. We’re excited to be able to provide Bates Memorial Stadium to New Brockton so they can play their high school football games out here,” Moore said.
Moore says the city of Enterprise will be glad to have the people of New Brockton visiting on Friday nights and wants to clarify that it’s still a ‘Wildcats Country.’
