Circle City Corvettes raise money for multiple Wiregrass charities

DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — Circle City Corvettes made their way to Panama City Beach Friday Morning for their 40th Annual Corvette Beach Caravan.

80 corvettes registered and gathered at the Peanut Festival Fairgrounds to kick off a weekend of car shows, displays, and seminars.

Participants had a choice of six different package options, from $50 for entry to the car show and a goody bag up to $155 for entry into everything and dinner for two.

But no matter the price of the package, all the money goes to a good cause.

“What we do is we have club members each year they submit a charity and we give anywhere from $500 to $1000 to about 10 charities,” Circle City Corvette Club Event Coordinator John Hickman said.

Hickman says many participants came from out of state from as far as Ohio, North Carolina, and Texas just to join the caravan this year.
