HEADLAND, Ala. (WDHN) — The city of Headland has received a grant to help repair and renovate homes throughout the area.
According to city officials, lower income housing will be the primary focus for the grant. Headland city officials said that housing and safety were the main reasons the city applied for the highly needed allocation.
“We’re actually having a public meeting on this Thursday evening at the high school,” said Adrienne Wilkins, Executive Director of Headland Chamber of Commerce. “It’s going to be at 6 o’clock, and they’re just going to get more information about the program, how to apply and for the amount of the grant they can receive.”
