PIKE COUNTY, Ala. (WDHN) — A Coffee County man is dead after a car accident happened in Pike County around 10 miles south of Troy.
According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA), James Kenneth Conneway, 64, of Enterprise was hit by a 2005 GMC Sierra traveling north on Alabama 87 that failed to yield right of way for oncoming traffic.
The GMC struck Conneway’s 2008 Kawasaki Vulcan.
Conneway was rushed to an area hospital but later died at the facility due to his injuries.
No further information is expected to be released as ALEA’s Highway Patrol Division investigates.
