Enterprise, Ala. (WDHN)—In the November 2020 Presidential election, “wait for lines” to vote at the Enterprise “Jug Brown” recreation center on East Lee Street was nearly two hours.

Over the years, it has been one of Coffee County’s busiest voting locations. But, the facility is currently “closed”,
it will soon be “leveled” in order to make way for a new, multi-million dollar rec. facility.

This week, the Board of Registrars’ got permission to relocate this precinct to the Enterprise Civic Center on
Highway 167 North.

Later this month, those who vote at the Jug Brown Recreation Center and those affected by district line changes will receive letters informing them of their new voting locations for the May 24th primary.
