DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — Houston County Commissioner Brandon Shoupe officially announced his run for county commission chairman Thursday.
He said his goal is to lead Houston county into the 21st century and describes this race as a race between the past and future.
He talked about what his campaign mission and message will be.
“It’s gonna take a lot of shoe-leather, it’s gonna take a lot of educating the voters,” Houston County Commissioner Brandon Shoupe said. “People are gonna start paying attention to this race at some point, but I’m gonna have a consistent message that we’re going to bring a brighter economic future for the citizens of this county. “
Shoupe said, if elected, his first project will involve the way business is done on the commission.
