HEADLAND, Ala, (WDHN) — Well for fans of corn in the Wiregrass, and we mean the crop, not the band, the town of the Headland is home to a corn farm with activities for the whole family.
CornDodgers Farm has been home to a corn maze and many other activities since it opened its fields to the public in 2009.
The 13-year-old fall event started with just four attractions and has now grown to have over 30.
Some of the activities offered include trolley rides, outdoor arcade games, a corn shooting cannon, and of course, a corn maze designed to be a tribute to the victims of 9/11.
Co-owner of CornDodgers, Amanda Knight, says this event is not just fun for kids, it’s fun for the whole family.
CornDodgers is open every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday during October, ending on Halloween. For more information on corndodger, you can visit their Facebook page here.
