ENTERPRISE, Ala. (WDHN) — Bond has been denied for an Enterprise man who was already out on bond on a capital murder charge when he was re-arrested on separate charges of carrying a pistol without a permit, tampering with physical evidence, and driving with a revoked license.
In November 2021, Deandre Marquise Flowers is one of two men who allegedly shot into an occupied vehicle in Enterprise and killed 15-year-old Myquell Smith after he was struck in the chest.
Smith was a ninth grader at Enterprise High School. During a defense motion hearing
on Thursday, Coffee County Judge Josh Wilson denied bond for Flowers due to his previous bond violation.
The co-defendant in the murder case, Fredrick Wilder Junior, has remained in jail with no bond since his initial arrest early last year.
Authorities have not released many details concerning a possible motive for the fatal shooting.
