MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WDHN) — WDHN has learned that both defendants have pleaded guilty to all four counts of possession of a firearm with an obliterated serial number.

James Rice Gray and Amanda Nicole Gray plead guilty Friday afternoon, according to Jame’s attorney, David Harrison.

MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WDHN) — A Coffee County couple is expected to plead guilty in federal court on Friday after being indicted on gun charges.

James Rice Gray and Amanda Nicole Gray were indicted in October of 2020 on four counts of possession of a firearm with an obliterated serial number, according to the indictment records. Guns listed as having their serial numbers destroyed include a 9 mm rifle, semiautomatic pistol, and multiple pistols.

These incidents stem from charges in Dale County in December of 2015.

The Grays are also facing multiple indictment charges for possession and intent to distribute controlled substances that court records state they also allegedly committed in Dale Co. in 2015.
