DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — The man accused of robbing a man on Saturday has been released from the Houston County Jail on bond.


DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — A Dothan man has been arrested for allegedly robbing a person in Dothan, police confirm.

On Saturday, an unnamed victim was robbed while on the 800 Block of Persimmon Street by a man who demanded money from him.

The victim believed Tiara Henderson, 31, had a firearm but did not see it.

After the victim allegedly gave Henderson an undisclosed amount of money, Henderson fled the scene on foot and was then arrested by Dothan police shortly after.

The victim did sustain a minor injury while giving Henderson his money, police say.

Henderson, who is charged with first-degree robbery, is currently in the Houston County Jail on a $60,000 bond.
