DOTHAN, Ala (WDHN)— A Dothan man was arrested Tuesday night and charged with displaying child pornography.
According to Dothan Police Lieutenant Ronald Hall, an investigation was started after police received a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children about someone electronically sharing a nude photo of a person under the age of 17.
Lt. Hall says the investigation led to the identification and arrest of 22-year-old Domingo Ortiz Velasquez.
Velasquez is charged with the Dissemination or Display of Child Pornography. He currently has no bond.
The investigation is still ongoing and it is unknown if additional charges will be brought.
