DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN)— Dothan police have revealed their prime suspect in the Hutchins Street shooting Sunday.
Terrance Williams, 18, of Dothan, is facing charges of first-degree assault. Police say Williams was shooting at another individual down the street when the gunfire struck the victim who was only a few feet away. Williams’s bond has been set at $500,000. His charges could be upgraded if the victim takes a turn for the worse. Right now the victim has life-threatening wounds and is in serious condition.
Police first received a call that shots had been fired on Sunday afternoon. When police arrived they learned the victim had already been taken to the hospital and was in serious condition.
Once on the scene, Dothan Police Crime Scene Investigators began interviewing people on the street.
