EUFAULA, Ala. (WDHN) — Police are investigating a late-night shooting in Eufaula that left one person hospitalized, according to a press release.

At around 11:19 p.m. on Tuesday, Eufaula police responded to two separate calls of gunshots and one person with gunshot wounds on the 2100 Block of South Randolph Avenue.

Around 11:25 p.m., Medical Center Barbour personnel contacted EPD reporting that a 25-year-old gunshot victim had arrived at the emergency room in a non-emergency vehicle. Reports say the victim had multiple gunshot wounds to the upper body.

Eufaula police continue to investigate the assault.
