DALEVILLE, Ala. (WDHN) — An Ozark man is accused of stealing a rifle from a store in Daleville.

On Sunday, March 5, officers responded to a burglary in progress at Steve’s Furniture and Appliance on Daleville Avenue.

Allegedly Antonio Andrew Brewer, 25, of Clio stole a black powder rifle from the store.

Dispatch received information that suggested the suspect was armed. Officers arrived on the scene and saw the suspect on the property in possession of the stolen rifle. Brewer was taken into custody without incident.

He was later transported to Dale County Jail for the following charges: burglary second-degree and theft of property second-degree.
