DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — A Geneva County man has been arrested after making terrorist threats at a Dothan business, police say.
Paul Lee Ward, 49, of Hartford, was arrested after Dothan Police say he made repeated threats to a business, even stating he wanted to “shoot” an employee.
The incidents happened in November of 2021 after Ward called a Dothan business that rents appliances and other items. Police say Ward made threats to the business since his significant other worked there.
The calls escalated and the business had to close for one day.
Ward is charged with two counts of making terrorist threats. He is currently serving probation in a local rehabilitation house.
Ward’s next court appearance is set for May 4.
