GENEVA COUNTY, Ala. (WDHN) — The wanted man, Jacob Lee Davis, was located in Black, AL, and has been captured.

GENEVA COUNTY, Ala. (WDHN) — The Geneva Police Department is searching for a male suspect who fled after police attempted to arrest him.

On Friday, September 23rd, Geneva Police Officers attempted to arrest Jacob Davis, 38, in the Walmart parking lot. Davis fled the parking lot in a white Chevrolet Trax and led officers on a pursuit westbound on Highway 52. Geneva and Samson Police chose to stop the pursuit due to hazardous road conditions.

Jacob Davis was last seen driving a 2020 white Chevrolet Trax with an Alabama license plate 34A05X1. Davis is believed to be in the Samson or the Marl Community and is currently out on bond awaiting trial for the following charges:

  • Unlawful possession of a controlled substance
  • Theft of property 2nd-degree
  • Unlawful distribution of a controlled substance (possession with intent)
  • Failure to appear on an attempting to elude law enforcement
