BLAKELY, Ga. (WDHN) — A fourth suspect has been arrested in the shooting in Blakely that occurred Sunday morning and claimed one man’s life.

Blakely police arrested Kiana Hutchins, of Colquitt and charged her with one count of a party to the crime of aggravated assault.

Hutchins was facing a bond a combined bond of $2,950 and has since bonded out of the Early County Jail.

James, Ransom, and Burden are all facing charges for one count of Murder, 10 counts of Aggravated Assault, and one count of possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.

The case will be presented to a Grand Jury, possibly in January of 2023, according to Blakely Police.

The charges and the number of charges could change as well.

Joshua Burden the third suspect in the Blakely shooting that occurred early Sunday morning is now in custody.

According to Blakely Police, more suspects are expected to be apprehended.

BLAKELY, Ga. (WDHN) — Both the city of Blakely and the Blakely Police Department held a news conference with updated information on the deadly shooting that left one dead and six injured on Sunday.

On Monday, WDHN learned that two suspects have been arrested and one suspect is still wanted for the shooting.

Both Jatavious James, 19, and Javen Ransom, 24, have been arrested on charges of aggravated assault. Police are still searching for Joshua Burden in the investigation.

The victim that was killed was named Eric Eafforrd, 47, according to Blakely Police Chief Will Caudill. The name of the other six victims has not been released.

Chief Caudill says a motive is still being determined for the shooting. Chief Caudill is asking for help from the community to help find and arrest Burden.

Blakley Police say they expect arrests and charges in this case.
