DOTHAN, Ala (WDHN) — Dothan Police are now looking for Damien Antwan Jackson as they believe he was the suspect who shot a man at a local barbershop on Monday.

Police allege that Jackson shot a man while the victim was waiting to get a haircut at KD’s Barbershop on Montgomery Highway.

The victim suffered a minor hand injury as a result of the gunshot. He was then treated on scene before driving himself to a local hospital for further treatment.

Police ask that if anyone has any information on Jackson’s whereabouts to call Crime Stoppers at 334-793-7000 or Dothan Police directly at 334-615-3000.

DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — Police say a shooting in Dothan has left at least one person with an injured hand and the suspect on the run.

At around 11:12 Monday morning, Dothan Police responded to a possible shooting at KD’s Barbershop in the 1300 Block of Montgomery Highway.

The shooting happened after a possible argument where the suspect fired at the victim, hit him in the hand, and then fled the scene on foot, Dothan Police said.

Police are currently interviewing witnesses and no one has been taken to the hospital by ambulance, according to police.

Police say they may have the identity of the suspect.
