BLAKELY, Ga (WDHN) — Three juveniles and an adult have been taken into custody after a Thursday shooting in Blakely
At approximately 1:16 p.m., Thursday, May 18, Blakely Police rushed to the 100 Block of Palmetto Avenue on reports of gunfire.
According to Blakely Police, when officers arrived, they found no one was hit by the gunfire, but an occupied vehicle was hit and witnesses provided a description of a vehicle that suspects were reported to be in.
Police say that not long after the description was given, an officer was able to locate the suspected vehicle and detained two juveniles inside, and a third juvenile fled but was soon captured.
As the investigation progressed, a fourth suspect, an adult, was taken into custody, and more information will be released soon, according to BPD.
The three unidentified juveniles will be turned over to the Department of Juvenile Justice for detention.
