GENEVA COUNTY, Ala. (WDHN) — Two Alabama men have been arrested by the Geneva County Sheriff’s Office on drug trafficking charges.

On Tuesday, April 26, Jody Warren Henderson, 50, of Lowery, Alabama, and Johnny Lorenzo Pope, 44, of Samson, were arrested and charged with trafficking methamphetamine, according to the Geneva County Sheriff’s Office.

Pope is also charged with attempting to elude.

Henderson’s bond is set at $150,000. Pope’s bond is set at a combined $256,000.

Pope is currently in the Geneva County Jail. Henderson has been released from jail and is now on probation.

Agents with the State Bureau of Investigation (SBI), and Alabama Drug Task Force were part of the investigation.
