HENRY COUNTY, Ala (WDHN)— Six people were arrested in Henry County after an undercover covert operation investigating human trafficking.
According to the Henry County Sheriff’s Office, on March 23, the HCSO concluded an operation they deemed “Safehouse”, which was an undercover operation focusing on human trafficking in the county.
As a result of the lengthy investigation, the Henry County Sheriff’s made multiple arrests:
- Christopher Clayton Kelly 37, of Eufaula.
- Kelly was charged with Human Trafficking 1st degree, electronic solicitation of a minor, and enticing a child for immoral purposes. Kelly’s bonds totaled $120,000.
- Gregory Leon Porter 22, of Abbeville.
- Porter was charged with Human Trafficking 1st degree, electronic solicitation of a minor, and enticing a child for immoral purposes. Porter’s bonds totaled $120,000.
- Thomas James Pritchett 29, of Union Springs.
- Pritchett was charged with Human Trafficking 1st degree, electronic solicitation of a minor, and traveling to meet a minor for an unlawful sex act. Pritchett‘s bonds totaled $150,000.
- Dawnte Ladell Allen 30, of Dothan.
- Allen was charged with Human Trafficking 1st degree, electronic solicitation of a minor, and traveling to meet a minor for an unlawful sex act. Allen’s bonds totaled $150,000.
- Anthony Arjamie Russaw 26, in Eufaula.
- Russaw was charged with Human Trafficking 1st degree, electronic solicitation of a minor, and traveling to meet a minor for an unlawful sex act. Russaw’s bonds totaled $150,000.
- Francisco Camaja Gomez 26, in Virgina.
- Gomez was charged with Human Trafficking 1st degree, electronic solicitation of a minor, and traveling to meet a minor for an unlawful sex act. Gomez is being held on no bond
The Henry County Sheriff’s Office will continue to make it a priority to protect the exploitation of the children in our community.
