UPDATE:

DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — The sentencing hearing for Aaron McCreight is scheduled for November 10th at 3:30 p.m. in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

The final investigation report is in, the hearing will be based on the time that was given in the investigation report by the U.S. Probation office.

Both defense and prosecution lawyers will have time to decide if the date in November works, but are asked to notify the judge immediately if there’s a conflict.

DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — The sentencing hearing for the current Visit Dothan CEO is inching closer in Iowa.

Aaron McCreight has pleaded guilty in court to federal bank fraud charges to the U.S. Northern District Court in Iowa.

After McCreight was involved in fraud that lost the Newbo Evolve Music Festival in Cedar Rapids, Iowa $2 million.

The final pre-sentence investigation was filed last week in his case and the document has the final complaints and corrections from both the defense and the plaintiff.

Sources say that the judge still has to set a date for the sentencing hearing, which the judge could set later this week, but the hearing wouldn’t take place until possibly September.
