DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — A woman was arrested on Saturday after she allegedly fired shots into the home of her husband.

According to Dothan Police, on Saturday, Lue Ellen March went to the 1100 block of Williams Avenue and attempted to confront her estranged husband who she has been separated from for several months.

When she was denied entry to the home, she began firing a handgun through the door.

When shots were fired, the estranged husband and several guests began running to get away from March, police say.

March then entered the residence and chased after her husband before running out another door of the home.

March’s husband then tackled her and held her until police arrived and placed her under arrest

Lue Ellen March, 60, was arrested and charged with one count of discharging a firearm into an occupied dwelling, and one count of first-degree domestic violence.

March was put in the Houston County Jail after her arrest on Saturday. She was released Sunday on a $90,000 bond.
