OZARK, Ala. (WDHN) —The Houston-Henry-Geneva County Industrial Authority grew this week by one.
The Dale County Commission has agreed to join the industrial authority, headed by the Dothan Chamber of Commerce President, Matt Parker, and a board consisting of three members from each of the four counties.
Parker believes there’s strength in numbers and if a potential industry is looking to locate in the Wiregrass,
a team approach by the local government helps pave the way through bureaucratic red tape.
As WDHN reported Tuesday night, Houston and other Wiregrass counties are hoping to create spec buildings in which a company could immediately move in and start production.
