OZARK, Ala. (WDHN) — A Dale County man is behind bars after being charged with numerous sex crimes crossing state lines.

Jeremy Morris, 34, is charged with one count of rape, two counts of first-degree sexual abuse of a child under the age of 12, and sodomy.

According to Dale County Chief Deputy Mason Bynum, the Dale County Sheriffs Office received a call from Tallahassee Police Department in reference to a person soliciting sexual contact from children.

The Dale County Sheriffs Office investigated, executed a search warrant, and conducted interviews — the evidence found led them to charge Morris.

Morris is in the Dale County Jail with no bond.
