Daleville Department of Public Safety investigating stolen vehicles

DALEVILLE, Ala. (WDHN) — The Daleville Department of Public Safety says they’re investigating a string of stolen vehicles in the city and Dale County.

Since July 6th, the department has received information on two stolen vehicles within the city limits.

One vehicle was a Chevy HHR stolen out of Phenix City and it was recently recovered. The other vehicle is a Yamaha grizzly four-wheeler and they’re currently looking for the owner.

Authorities say they have a suspect in the theft case, but there is no arrest at this time.

“We do have a suspect in all of the stolen property cases, we have one person of interest we have been talking to known associates of the one person of interest,” Captain Allen Hendrickson said.

The investigation is ongoing. Captain Hendrickson says if you’re the owner of the four-wheeler contact, the Daleville Department of Public Safety.
