DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — On Tuesday, the Dothan City Commission met in regular session and approved its Fiscal 2022 budget year which begins October 1st.
Mayor Mark Saliba said the city manager and department heads met to look at the overall needs
of Dothan before presenting their budget. He feels this budget addresses the future and keeping Circle City on top of growth and development.
“We are doing what we need to do as far as maintenance of facilities and then equality of life adding new facilities, or adding to our existing facilities things that we know the people will enjoy,” Saliba said.
Mayor Saliba said it’s his responsibility and the commission to be good stewards of the taxpayer’s money.
