Dothan City Schools celebrates Homecoming with a parade

DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — Dothan high school has been celebrating homecoming all week with different events and activities for students to participate in.

Thursday afternoon, the school held its annual homecoming parade on Dothan High School’s campus.

To help bring school spirit to the students, faculty, and staff of Dothan City Schools.

The football team is excited for the game on Friday, and homecoming has helped with excitement.

“Homecoming means a lot to students,” 11th Grader Tykevious Martin said. “and to student-athletes, it’s a culture thing from generation to generation.”

“We all come together and celebrate our football team and all other sports and we come together to be a great school for the community,” 10th grader, Jimmy Barry said.

Dothan High School plays Carol High School Friday, October first at home at 7 o’clock.
