DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — One Dothan mother is trying to save her one-year-old son from a serious disease.
Naquesha Jackson is asking residents to donate anything they can to help her son, Ja’khari Butler, who is battling Leukemia.
Butler was diagnosed back in June of this year with T-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia, a rare yet aggressive blood cancer.
It was a parent’s worse nightmare, according to Jackson. To fully support Ja’khari, she had to quit her job in order to be with her son all day long. Butler has chemotherapy treatments twice a week at Children’s Hospital Birmingham. Between medical bills, chemo treatment, prescriptions, pediatric counseling, and the list goes on. This is why Jackson is in dire financial need.
Butler will be starting his next consolidation phase of intense treatment for the next eight to twelve months.
Her goal is to raise $25,000. She is grateful for any and all that help to save her son. To donate visit their GoFundMe or call at 334-714-1446
