Dothan police arrest woman for chemical endangerment of child

DOTHAN, Ala.– Dothan police have arrested a woman for chemical endangerment of a child.

Latisha Rene’e Yavonne was charged with the crime on September 10 after her newborn tested positive for THC.
Yavonne confessed to smoking marijuana and consuming marijuana edibles up to three weeks prior to giving birth.
 
She was booked into the Houston County Jail with a $5,000 bond.
