DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — A recent rash of storage unit break-ins caught the attention of Dothan Police and after an investigation they discovered even more.

Joshua Ryan Kelly has been charged with four counts of 3rd degree burglary , one count of having a controlled substance, and 6 counts of possession of an explosive device.

Dothan police say they were investigating several storage unit break-ins on the 800 block of Hatton Road in Dothan.

After further investigation they went to check the residence of Kelly, located in the 400 block of South Pontiac Avenue.

After searching his residence, Dothan Police found what looked to be pipe bombs.

The bomb squad was called in and after investigation they found the pipe bombs to be fully-functioning.

Kelly’s bond has been set at $160,000 in total.
