DPD: Five teenagers shot during party in north Dothan Saturday night

DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) – Dothan Police are investigating shootings that left several teenagers injured Saturday night on Dothan’s north side.

Dothan Police units and Houston County Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to the 1900 block of Reeves Street after a report of gunfire just before 11:00 p.m. The incident occurred at the Plaza Two Shopping Center, just south of the Ross Clark Circle. Dothan Fire and EMS were also dispatched to the scene.

Five juveniles were wounded in the shootings that took place during a party at Plaza Two, according to DPD Criminal Investigations Commander Scott Owens. Several others received injuries while scrambling to move away from the gunfire, Owens said.

All shooting victims are under the age of 18 years old. 

None of the injuries are serious, Owens said. He also confirmed Sunday afternoon that no arrests have been made.
