Experimental Aircraft Association has sponsored local youth at the Auburn Aviation Summer Camp for years.

The camp gives local students knowledge in aviation and flight simulation training. Students returned to the camp Friday and shared their experience.

“We got to fly with a lot of younger pilots and figure out what path they took in order to get there. It was a really interesting experience learning all the different paths you can take in aviation,” Eric Hagedorn said.

The scholarship is funded by local members. The scholarship values at around $1000.
