ENTERPRISE, Ala. (WDHN) — Twice each week, the Enterprise Parks and Recreation Department holds a light impact aerobics class which mainly is frequented by senior adults, some even in their seventies and eighties.
Senior Aerobic Instructor, Felicia Felder, says her main goal is to get these folks moving. Numerous studies indicate exercise is important for everyone, but especially for senior citizens who don’t always have an outlet to get their cardio-vascular systems pumping at a higher rate.
The light impact aerobics class runs from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays at the Enterprise Farmer’s Market Conference Room.
The class is free to the public, and you don’t have to be a senior citizen, or from Enterprise in order to participate.
