Enterprise State Community College adds digital multimedia program

News

ENTERPRISE, Ala. (WDHN) — ESCC made some renovations to Forester Hall before the pandemic and unfortunately, students have not seen the new changes until the school’s new digital multimedia program gets underway when the new school year starts.

ESCC’ss fine arts division chairman Dr. Ken Thomas says students have inquired about a multimedia program for quite some time and businesses have reached out looking for workers.

Thomas explained how the program will benefit students who would like to become graphic designers and other multimedia artists.

“Especially this past year our students actually used digital multimedia in filming our virtual concerts so we kinda had to change the way we do things and this is what’s going on now,” Thomas said.

ESCC will hold its first live concert on August 8.

Dr. Thomas says scholarships are available for all of the college’s fine art programs and you can contact him for more information at kthomas@escc.edu.
