DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — The Farm Center was packed out with food, vendors, and fun this afternoon as the Alabama Food Truck Association held their fourth mini food truck festival.

Every month the association holds an event to allow local food trucks and small businesses to showcase all the services and tasty treats they have to offer.

This not only gives the community a place to try new foods and come together, but it helps business that is just starting up to get their name out there.

“Some of the trucks have been around for a while, but it allows the newer trucks to be able to get their name out there and for businesses and other people in the community to realize we have a large community of food trucks,” Sayit Hotdogs food truck co-owner, Lisha Walker said. “So if we need somebody for an event we know we have one place where we can try and get in touch with all of them.”

The next food truck festival will be on May 7 for more information on upcoming events you can visit their Alabama Food Truck Association page on Facebook.
