ENTERPRISE, Ala. (WDHN) — Enterprise held its annual spring festival downtown at the Boll Weevil monument Saturday afternoon.
The festival is easter-themed, many residents came out with their decorative hats to participate in an easter hat parade and contest to win prizes and of course take pictures with “Peep” the Easter bunny.
Festival attendees were also able to shop at a row of street vendors, learn how to line dance, a fun zone was set up for the kids, and numerous food trucks were there to cure your appetite.
One couple had food on their minds which is why they spent the whole day at the festival.
“I’m 8 months pregnant and was craving some festival food so once I found out about the festival we had to come,” Rylee Jones said.
“We’re from Ohio and up there the festivals are not as big as they are down here. It’s nice to see all of the vendors and eat some great food,” Tanner Jones said.
The Jones family says they will be more than glad to check out more festivals in the future as long as they can find parking.
